The Hunger Games

The MIddle and the End
    Katniss Everdeen is now in the Hunger Games she has been fighting other districts to survive. But, Peeta has gone agaisnt her and has joined the other districts on planning to kill Katniss. But Peeta is left alone with no help almost dieng alone left from the others. Katniss soon finds Peeta on the ground camouflaging hurt. Katniss helps Peeta and they are back to playing as a team and winning. But, Katniss is building up love and emotion for Peeta which is good because it will help them win.
     Katniss and Peeta are falling in love they are going against everyone. In one part where they are together Katniss shows her emotion for Peeta when she hears the canon, that means when someone has died. But Peeta shows that he isnt dead and that he actually poisened another player with berries. Katniss and Peeta soon reach the end and they are the only players still standing. But they know there can only be one player so they both choose to eat the poison berries, but they are stopped and they hear someone announce "District 12, you are the winners".

Major Conflicts:
1. Katniss sister is chosen to be in the hunger games this is resolved by Katniss taking her spot in the hunger games.
2. Katniss mother goes into shock when the father dies so she is not able to be a mom for her daughters, this is resolved by Katniss taking her spot and she helps her sister.
3. Katniss home town best friend Gale is falling in love with her but Katniss is falling in love with Peeta.
4. Katniss is struggling to find food this is resolved by her learning how to hunt and use the bow and arrow

Characters
Katniss Everdeen- she was a good brave women and had a good heart for her sister and friend. She is very strong because she had to make hard choices in the Hunger Games.
Peeta- Peeta was a good character in the begining of the book i did not like him, but during the Hunger Games he showed his bad side. That was the only part i liked where he played, because he showed his real self and he showed his skills.
Gale- i think Gale was a good character they described him to be a sweet person who really cared about Katniss. He was nice when it came to protecting Katniss and her family.
Ruth- i think Ruth could've done better, she couldve been in the book more. But, that little part she played in was good its sad that she died, she did ok.

2 Best Parts:
1.The best part where the book got good where everyone did there ooos and ahhhs, was when she took the place of her sister in being in the Hunger Games. Katniss sacrificed her life when she took the place of her sister.
2. Another good part in the book is where the Hunger Games starts because they have this whole ceremony where all the districts show themselves. They show themselves and when Katniss and Peeta showed themselves they both came out with outfits that had fire lighting up from the back.

2 worste parts:
1. Where Katniss has to see Ruth die is sad and bad. Ruth was as young as Katniss sister so it was hard for her.
2. The second is where Katniss's father died by an underground construction burn up. He would work there and one day it all blew up.

Favorite Character:
Katniss Everdeen the bravest character ive ever read about was so good she didnt want to make me stop reading. She was so good in so many parts. For example when she woyld hunt down food she was a very good hunter. Katniss is very brave and daring, but at the same time has a heart for every one and is nice.

The Antagonist:
A player in the Hunger Games from district 11, was the criminal. He wante do bring Katniss down he wanted to kill her. He was the destroyer and didnt want her to win he wanted to win.
